Carteret General Hospital Taps Kronos for Workforce Management

Kronos (News - Alert) provides workforce management solutions that enable organizations to effectively manage their workforce and improve efficiencies. Recently the company said its workforce management solution has been selected by Carteret General Hospital.


The hospital selected Kronos time and attendance, employee scheduling, hiring, absence management, labor analytics, and HR and payroll solutions to improve hiring practices. The workforce management solutions also enable the hospital to align its labor force according to the demand and analyze labor data. With these solutions, the hospital expects to save more than $400,000 within the first year of implementation.

The hospital has also selected Kronos’ revolutionary new timeclock, the Kronos InTouch, which combines the latest in hardware technology with a powerful user interface.

In addition to these, Carteret also selected the fully integrated analytics solution from Kronos. The Kronos analytics solution allows the hospital to make informed decisions by aligning workforce data needs with operational data such as census figures, billing information, incident reports, and outcomes data.

A unique feature of Kronos solutions is their integration among different workforce management solutions. This eliminates multiple, redundant entries and other inefficiencies related to disparate systems. The integrated, automated workforce management system now provides the hospital with real-time visibility into critical labor data, helping management make more effective labor-related decisions.

The implementation of Kronos workforce management solution will help the hospital select the most productive and best-fit candidates and help reduce turnover. Estimates say by achieving even one percent increase in retention, the hospital can save $100,000 annually.

Recently Kronos also announced its workforce management solutions have been selected by PVR Cinemas. PVR Cinemas has selected time and attendance, absence management and scheduling solutions from Kronos, in addition to InTouch time clocks and mobile applications for use by all 3,700 employees.
